Sired by the proven ECC Polled Maverick 302/9 (P) and out of our many-time champion donor cow, ECC 4F Polled Dora 359/9 (P), Tommy Shelby carries forward the profitability, fertility, and performance that define the ECC program.
In addition, his natural thickness, balance, and structural integrity makes him a complete herd sire, in an HOMOZYGOUS Polled package. If you are looking to fast-track your program to a 100% POLLED calf crop, Tommy Shelby is the answer. Being PP, all of his calves will be born Heterozygous or Homozygous Polled, even if bred to a horned cow.
From an EPD standpoint, Tommy Shelby ranks impressively in the Top 4% of the breed for Calving Ease and Top 4% for Marbling. As a Maverick son, this is no surprise to us as his calves on the rail prove time and time again to be the higher-marbling carcasses.
