The foundation of our breeding program! If you were to flip through the herd book of calves produced by England Cattle Co, you could trace a majority of those calves back to one of these three sire lines. LMC Polled Sambo 45/0 (P) and LMC Polled Authority 115/0 (P) were two of the first Polled Brahman bulls we purchased to cover our predominately horned cow herd. Back in 2011, there were not many Polled cows to select from and we had to breed our own. We selected Sambo to represent the Pistolero line and Authority to represent the Ambassador line - the two most proven Polled lines in the breed. We identified early on that crossing these two lines produced the ultimate cross for us, one we have since deemed the "ECC Polled Power Cross," and many of their daughters and sons are now top producers for our breeding program.

ECC El Caporal 301 (S), a Sambo son, was the first calf to carry our "Bar E" brand and his impact has made a name for our operation around the world. He was the first Polled Brahman bull in the USA to successfully collect and sort for Ultra-Sexed female semen. He is also the number one sire we have identified for producing Homozygous Polled (PP) progeny. A few of his notable PP progeny in our herd are ECC SB Polled Brooke 355/9 (PP) who is the dam of ECC Polled Harvard 793/2 (S), and ECC Polled Presidente 715/2 (PP) who is out of a Madonna daughter. Both of these bulls will be on our show string this spring.
